Hello! When my pup was sick (4 mos old) the vet advised me that it was ok to feed her boiled chicken and rice to get her system back in order for a couple of days…well my puppy is doing pretty well (was diagnosed with distemper about a month ago) and every night i give her and my older 2 year old dog a good tablespoon or two of boiled chicken and rice in with their dry dog food. I was wondering if doing this was healthy for the dogs or if it was bad to be doing this everday?? My older dog will eat her dry dog food alone and so will the puppy, although i still soften the food for her because it’s a bit hard on her teeth…so what do you think…is that little bit of chicken and rice going to hurt their health??
